Q: You bought a peach & a nectarine at a grocery store. Which do you eat first?

A: The peach - you'll need the nectarine to get rid of its nasty taste. Why the hell did you bother with a peach that wasn't from a greenmarket anyway? Did you really think the experience would differ from the past ten times?

A bad peach is like biting into an orange-coloured wad of chewed-up newspaper bits which have congealed somewhat inside of a smushy, fuzzed skin.

A good peach is something I have not had in years.

Your post reminds me of delicious apples from an orchard, and why I can barely stand store apples now. Store apples are like big, waxen lumps of sugarless ..something. Free-range apples make you eat them every morning until they are gone, though apple breakfasts seem peculiar. Damn you, Michigan!
